This position is a full time position that offers full benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off and company match 401k.
Hours for this role will be 35-40 hours per week - flexible schedule available but must be able to work until 6pm.
Bi-lingual beneficial.
This position may assist with tech duties as well as front desk support in busy therapy clinic.
DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
Provides receptionist support for the clinic.
Answer telephone and relay calls and messages to the appropriate staff members.
Greet patients, family members, and visitors courteously.
Schedule patient appointments and keep schedule up to date and accurate.
Gather patient demographics and billing information.
Assists patients in completing paperwork.
Admit all new patients in a timely, accurate fashion.
Prior to a new evaluation, calls and verifies appointment time and date with patient.
Assist with assigning daily patient treatment schedule.
Manage waiting room.
Responsible for filing of Document Management.
Responsible for discharge process of patients.
Gathers necessary administrative information, includes, but not limited to:
Accepting and processing patient payments as needed.
Arrangement of interpreters.
Faxing or calling for additional scripts.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Continually communicate and interact with co-workers in a professional and positive manner.
Respect and interact appropriately with co-workers.
Openly communicate with Department Director.
Good attendance, notifying Director during absences.
Exemplify overall positive attitude at work.
Identify problems and constructively participate in problem resolution.
Demonstrate positive rapport with staff members developing positive employee relations.
Additional job duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, family members and other staff members.
Strong self-motivational.
Must possess a high degree of accuracy.
Must be highly detail oriented.
Excellent written, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to operate in the Microsoft Windows environment including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in an office or therapy clinic environment.
Constantly operates a computer, telephone and other office equipment to perform duties Must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time (up to 80%); frequently move about inside the office or clinic to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
; as well as occasionally position self by bending or stooping to move equipment or files weighing up to 20 lbs.
Inside under normal temperature conditions, adequate light, ventilation, and space.
Works frequently with others, occasionally alone.
Moderate exposure to noise typical of an office environment.
Exposure to blood-borne pathogens, body fluids, equipment, and cleaning chemicals minimal with training and strict adherence to established department safety policies and procedures.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
