Responsibilities Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, which may include:
mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing, pipe fitting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, arc and acetylene welding, steam boiler maintenance, tool die and fabrication equipment maintenance.
Set up and operate various types of machines.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and perform adjustments.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Paint to maintain safety controls and general appearance of facility.
Use a variety of hand an power tools, test and measuring devices, which may include precision multi-meter, micrometers, chart recorders, oscilloscopes, and electrical, mechanical and electronic analysis and diagnostic equipment work.
Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance and avoids unsightly, or hazardous conditions, consistent with specifications and local codes.
Work from diagrams or blueprints.
Repair electronic equipment such as computers, industrial controls, transmitters, antennas and servomechanisms.
Align, adjust and calibrate equipment according to specifications Calibrate testing instruments Maintain records of repairs, calibrations and tests.
Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsThe qualified candidate will have experience with the following:
