JOIN OUR TEAM! The Host/Busser is responsible for greeting and seating guests and is focused on customer service.
The Host/Busser helps clean, set-up tables after guests leave and restocks work areas.

Responsibilities:
Understands Steps of Service.
Greets guests at the door with a smile and sincere welcome.
Guides guests to an appropriate table, introducing specials and promotions.
Cleans and restocks restrooms every 30 minutes.
Helps clean floors throughout the shift.
Observes and responds to guests.
Communicates with other host Team Members to ensure the continuous flow of seating.
Records guest information during waiting periods.
Communicates with host stand concerning table updates.
Holds the door open for entering and exiting guests while accommodating handicapped or elder guests.
Providing crayons, kids' menus, high chairs and booster seats for young children Makes servers aware of any special requests.
Inquires with departing guests about their visit/thanking them for coming in.
Handles guest comments in a professional manner and gets management when necessary.
Cleans, clears and resets tables in a prompt manner.
Completes perimeter checks as needed.
Assists with rolling silverware when necessary.
Assists servers throughout shift by pre-bussing tables.
Follows food safety, general sanitation and dress code policies.
Refills beverages when necessary.
Completes all daily, opening and closing side work.
Get checked out by management before the end of the shift.
Provides friendly and competent customer service.
Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):
Restaurant, retail or guest service experience preferred.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Able to work the POS system efficiently.
Ability to listen to guests, respond verbally and interact with Team Members.
Ability to read, write and perform math skills.
Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
Must be well groomed and follow company uniform standards.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
Must have reliable transportation and phone.
Must be able to communicate in English.
