Program Analyst

Using the electronic health record and other various data sources, acquires, analyzes, and sorts data into useful information for use by the GPM/Associate GPMs, clinical and administrative staff and NWI leadership to monitor access to care, timeliness of consult management, clinic productivity, missed opportunities and other metrics used to enhance clinic efficiency and productivity. Designs and populates databases in support of medical management and clinical modeling using various software applications to include Microsoft Office. In coordination with the GPM and service line clinical and administrative staff, determines data/information requirements for special projects and studies to be conducted in support of ambulatory care operations and enhancement. Leading or participating in workgroups, using Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement/quality improvement models to improve access, quality and cost effectiveness of NWI ambulatory care clinics. Serve as a resource for executive management and service line ambulatory clinic staff for providing ad hoc requests for information and reports. Advise all levels of NWI employees, including the highest levels of management, on data driven decision making to make health care operations more effective and efficient. Develop and execute complex projects that support veterans' health care needs, collaborating effectively in a lead role; assist clinical business end users in reengineering processes for clinical efficiency and documentation. Integrate knowledge of clinical and information processes to achieve successful adoption and application of new technologies to support health care operations and systems and initiates. Review and evaluates local processes and procedures to determine areas of effectiveness, efficiency, and improvement and implement an NWI clinic management system based on national requirements. Actively participates in, provides information for various NWI committees. This position will be filled in either Omaha, Lincoln, or Grand Island. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-12position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-13. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge of missions, organizations, programs, and requirements of healthcare delivery systems. Experience working in public or private sector ambulatory care operations. Knowledge of using data systems to extract raw data and transferring it in a useful informative format to software such as Microsoft Office. Experience in briefing executive level management and clinical staff. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
