Administrative Officer (Outpatient Services Scheduling)

There is one vacant position that will be filled in one of the following NWI campus locations:
Omaha, Lincoln, or Grand Island. The duties of the position include but are not limited to:
Responsible and accountable for the coordination and oversight of Scheduling and Consults across NWI to include CBOC's. Provides direct line support to the Outpatient Scheduling Service Line on the scheduling package, clinic profiles, consult directive, etc. Has responsibilities of auditing and monitoring to ensure compliance with policies and laws governing scheduling, consultative services, privacy, records management, business integrity and access. Responsible for strategic planning and direction, budgetary oversight and the administrative management structure to support the Outpatient Scheduling Service Line. Performs a wide range of complex business, administrative, and operational functions, supporting the Outpatient Nursing Director by assessing issues and concerns, determining appropriate course of action, advising and coordinating policies, programs, and operations, and implementing actions to ensure administrative and operational requirements are met. Responsibilities:
Program Oversight and Data Analysis Develops analytical systems and analyzes multifunctional programs and processes Creates written policies and procedures that promote commitment to scheduling and consult compliance Develops and supports implementation of standard business rules Analyzes, evaluates, reports, advises on, and/or improves the effectiveness of scheduling and access methods Serves as the system point of contact for communication regarding scheduling, consults, and access Provides regular communication/reports Guides and supports various management initiatives Functions as a team leader Process improvement HR Logistics/Contracting/Finance Strategic planning and budgetary oversight Provides advice to service line director on budgetary/fiscal management and operational issues Oversight for acquisition and contractual actions Liaison to medical center support services Manages capital assets Education and Training Reviews program directives related to all programs within the Scheduling Directive, Consult Directive, and auditing of scheduling and consult practices. Partners with the education department to design educational content for appointment making Provides scheduled and just-in-time training to staff Establishes internal measurement criteria and performs periodic audits to ensure scheduling directive compliance Work Schedule:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
